This is going to be a “FUN” yet educational practice for CDE and Pleasure driving in a different format yet loosely following ADS rules.

Opening Date: September 16,

Closing Date: October 14,  Entry Form must have a post mark date --Space is limited to 20.

Divisions: Combined Driving( CD)----Training and Preliminary. Loosely following ADS 

rules 

Pleasure Drive (PD)—Training and Preliminary. Loosely following ADS Rules No Obstacles

Format: CD: Every turnout will do dressage then as soon as you exit the ring you immediately continue on the Cones Trail to the end-about 3- 4K  . On the Cones trail you might come across interesting elements that are not cones, but there will be a bridge. There will be 20 plus cones and elements judge by observers.. If you get eliminated there will be no whistle –you just continue on to the end. Cones will be set at Standard settings. CD drivers will be doing 3 obstacles included on the Cones Trail as per ADS rules. You will be given allowed time to complete the Cones Trail.

Refund policy: No refund after closing date unless there is a Veterinarian or Doctors notice… 

Twice around: - Drivers/navigators or any equipment sharing (ie. carriages) are allowed a maximum of 2 times on course not in same division as long as scheduling permits.  Competitors must say on their entry form what they are sharing and with whom they are sharing in order to be accommodated in the schedule

COVID-19: REQUIREMENTS WHILE ON EVENT GROUNDS:

PHYSICAL DISTANCING: WHO: Everyone WHEN: At all times EXCEPTIONS: Only three exceptions - • Immediate Household Members* • Essential support personnel assisting an entry preparing to compete, during competition (including riding on the same vehicle) and immediately after competing. • In cases of emergency.

MASKS/FACE COVERINGS: WHO: Everyone WHEN: Whenever there is the possibility of being within 6 feet of others, including while on a vehicle with other people even if they are immediate household members. EXCEPTIONS: Only one exception - a driver driving alone while competing or warming up. For these drivers, Masks/Face Covers are advised or at least to be within easy reach but are not required. *Immediate Household Members – Individuals consistently living in the same house or dwelling. Members of a household may or may not be related.

Awards: The Results will be sent to you electronically and we will get prize to you somehow. Awards per division 1-6th place with 1st place winning an unusual prize. 

Miscellaneous: The cones Trail can be inspected on your own with ATV, Golf Carts, bikes and foot-- NO CARS/TRUCKS. The course will be set up for inspection by November 5th. A map and schedule will be sent to you by November 2nd. 

VSE-- no hyper-bikes! All, except Small Ponies and VSE, must have a groom on the carriage During  the cones trail. 

FOOD:There will be NO FOOD on the grounds. Dress- extremely casual but Helmets required for cones Trail. Juniors must have an adult and wear Helmet and vest.
